Apache AIDS Project

Phoenix - Isadore was living on the streets of Phoenix when he was diagnosed with a co-infection of HIV and Hepatitis C on May 2, 2002.

Las Vegas, May 11, 2009 ‐‐A new website aimed at creating awareness around HIV/AIDS for the Native American community has been established, entitled "Positive Native: Unheard Voices" and is accessible at www.positivenative.com. The initial basis for this site will serve as the foundation for American Indians who may be unaware of certain high risk behaviors that can potentially lead to HIV infection.

The 3rd National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day campaign in the San Francisco Bay Area was a huge success as a result of the dedication and commitment of the collaborating partners and individuals involved in promoting and carrying out this year’s activities!
