We live in a digital world. If you don't have much time in your life to socialize and network or feel separated from other Two-Spirit people, the internet can help you make the connections you want and need. Online social networking, utilizing websites such as MySpace and Facebook, can help you feel a little more connected. Networking online can even help you find people in your area that might be interested in organizing a Native LGBTQ/Two-Spirit group or society.

If you live in an area with a Native LGBTQ/Two-Spirit society or group, inquire about their meetings and social gatherings. Most groups and societies have opportunities to meet in-person. Another form of in-person social networking is to attend a Native LGBTQ/Two-Spirit gathering, workshop, or retreat. Some of the most popular Two-Spirit gatherings is the yearly Tulsa Two-Spirit Gathering, which takes place in Osage Hills Park (2 hrs. north of Tusla, Oklahoma) in April each year, and the yearly International Two-Spirit Gathering, which takes place in the fall in the U.S. or Canada. To learn more about Two-Spirit gatherings, visit our Annual Gatherings page.

Some of the most popular websites you can find other Native LGBTQ/Two-Spirit people are:

  1. Two Spirit Gatherings - a Yahoo email group
  2. Facebook "Two-Spirit" Group
  3. MySpace "Two-Spirit" Group
  4. NativeOUT - Connect & Get Involved section (but you knew that already Wink)
